Farming isn’t just your job, it’s your way of life. It’s early mornings and late nights, and a commitment to all the things that depend on you: the land, your animals, and your people. Whether you run a small family farm or a larger commercial operation, protecting your farm means protecting your livelihood and your legacy.

V.B. Insurance Brokers farm insurance policies aren’t one-size-fits-all. We take the time to walk with you (literally, if needed), to understand how you operate, and build a plan that suits your needs—plain and simple.

St. Paul Farm Insurance

You can’t control the weather, and you can’t control when a machine breaks down. But you can control how you recover from events that would otherwise be a detriment to your farm. Having the right farm insurance means you don’t have to face the worst-case scenarios alone. Instead of starting over, you’d be able to rebuild. If things were to go wrong, you’d have a team in your corner who understands your needs.

V.B. Insurance Brokers are that team! You work hard to care for your land and your livestock, and we’re here to help you protect it all. Being a small but powerful team, we have the knowledge and resources to provide sufficient policies for your needs with the personal touch you will love to have from your insurance company.

Farm Homeowners Insurance

Your farm is your home, too. Farm Homeowners Insurance protects your farmhouse AND personal property from risks like fire, theft, or liability claims. At V.B. Insurance Brokers, we’ll treat your farmhouse the same way we would treat any homeowner’s policy, but with added care for rural life.

Outbuildings (and the Contents Within)

Your buildings play a vital role in your farming operations, and they’re probably expensive to repair or replace. We’ll make sure your insurance policy can protect all your important structures and their contents, based on their use, condition, and value. We’ll also help you make sure that nothing goes unaccounted for, so you can rest assured that your coverage is working.

Equipment and Tools

Farming equipment and tools may be some of your most valuable assets. Whether you use a combine, tractor, skid steer, or welder, we offer coverage options to help you repair or replace your essential equipment if it’s damaged or destroyed by covered events. You rely on your gear, and we’ll help you keep it running.

Livestock Coverage

Your animals ARE the farm. At V.B. Insurance Brokers, we offer protection for livestock in case of loss due to fire, transport accidents, or other specific perils. It’s important that if you raise cattle, sheep, or other animals, that you have a plan in place that protects them, and your peace of mind.

Farm Liability Insurance

We want to make sure your farm is covered in case someone is injured on your property or claims your farm caused them damage or harm. Farm liability coverage protects you from lawsuits and medical bills, and also covers things like hired help or visitors who might stop by to see the farm.

Hay, Straw, Feed and Stored grain coverage

Need coverage for animal feed, fertilizer, chemical, bales or stored seed? We got you. Coverage is available anywhere on the lands owned or farmed by you. Protection against fire, explosion, lightning, transport accidents and other specific perils are available.
